If you follow me on
Twitter you won't have failed to have noticed that I have the
honour of my jewellery being sold in the
Smithson Gallery Pop-Up until Christmas Eve. I met Anna, the owner of The Smithson Gallery, on a screenprinting course at Spike Island Print in 2009.
The Smithson Gallery was still in it's beginnings at this stage and Anna has worked tirelessly to make it the success it is today.
The Smithson Gallery regularly participates in shows, exhibitions and pop-ups across the UK including The Affordable Art Fair, Pulse and Top Drawer. I love the selection of artists that Anna as chosen, my particular favourites include
Charlotte Farmer,
Annie & Amelia,
Jason Lilley &
Annie Little to name a few.
Anna's latest venture is part of the
Pop-Up Bristol scheme which is running until Christmas Eve 2011. Occupying the spacious shop in Glass Walk in the prestigious Cabot Circus shopping area, Anna has created a winter wonderland of local designers and artists.
You have just 11 days left to shop!
Pop on by and say hello and pick up some gorgeous unique gifts made by local designers. While you're in the neighbourhood, do check out the
other pop-up shops, Upfest and Bristol Creatives.
The Smithson Gallery is open 7 days a week from 10am until 8pm until 2pm Saturday 24th December 2011. Don't miss it!
